Economics Update: February 3, 2014

Today is a good day to talk about the economy.

The S&P 500 was down 2.3 percent, after weak manufacturing data came in and economic reports show slowing activity in China.  Listen on NPR.  Read on CNBC how Markets now fear US economy chilled by more than the weather.

It was a historic day.  Janet Yellen became the first woman to head the Federal Reserve.
